Cut sugar from (or substantially reduce it) your diet, and you will lose weight from all sorts of places.
My wife and I have both reduced our sugar consumption (as recommended by my doctor) and apart from losing weight from our tummies, my wrists and arms have become smaller, and my wife has noted her thighs and arms have also gotten smaller.
Do some research on diet and sugar, and give it a try.
You will be amazed just where you will lose weight from.
Good luck.
Yes, you can lose weight in your thighs by losing water, which includes taking diuretic pills. You can also lose weight in your thighs by swimming in the water and exercising.

Lose weight, amputate!
I have the same exact problem. My thighs are too fat and I need to lose weight from them! I tried doing squats and lunges, and they seem to have improved.
Yes, but if you run you will loose weight everywhere.
It doesn't. It tones your thighs, calves and butt and builds muscle and strength.
You can't. It takes longer than a day to lose weight from your thighs (or anywhere, for that matter).
Losing weight depends on the types of food you eat and the amount of exercise. Breads go to your thighs, so in order to lose weight there you must not eat as much wheat and run a lot.
If you run for about 15-30 min. a day, 3 days a week, it really works your thighs and you can't lose the ongoing battle of losing thigh weight.
