Just grab in the middle of the front of both seatsand pull up and out and wolla.
First you remove the lower back seat, and the bolts that secure the upper will be exposed. Remove them and lift out upper back seat.
well the first thing is to remove the lower seat. It has two clips near the front of it . Remove the lower seat now. Next remove the side panel right above the back seat. Now you have to remove the bolts for the seat belts, it holds the back part of the seat in. move the back part of the seat up towards the back window. You should hear the seat come loose. Now when you put the seat back in don't forget to pull the seat belts back though.
Push the lower seat inward towards the trunk and lift up. this will allow you to remove the lower seat. Once this is done you can gain access to the lower bolts for the back of the seat. remove these bolts and then lift the back of the seat up and out.
first bring down the back rest and you will see two bolts on each lower side unscrew those and put the back rest aside, then unscrew the lower seat a lift from the back. Unlatch the top of the back seat inside the trunk. Lower the seat back, remove the black plastic rivet that attaches the trunk mat to the seat back. Remove the fabric that covers the pivot bolts. the back of the seat is the front of the trunk. To remove the rear seat back you first have to remove the two bolts just under bottom seat assembly. Bolts are located at the botton of lower seat, about between your ankles if you were sitting in the seat, one on each side. Then remove bottom seat assembly. Then remove seatbelt bolts that hold seat back assembly, lift straight up on seat back and remove.
Remove lower seat bottom. Remove two bolts from bottom of seat back. Lift seat back off of its hooks. Remove from car. Use Philips screwdriver to remove 4 screws holding speaker grille to seat back frame.

To remove the rear seat on my 91 535i you have grab under the seat about half way and then pull straight up. Hope this helps you out

gentltly pull off the top pad closest to the rear window, not the back cushion, its held on with plastic snap things. then you will see the back seatrest has four clipd with screws. remove those screws and gently push the seat back downward to slide it of the lower clips. then unbutton the seatbelt holders. and you can remove the hinges for the lower seat if you want.
