The Trunk Motor? Are you trying to lower the placement of the whole set up, or are you trying to lower the release? Lower the whole set up: You need a thirteen socket and there are three bolts; one on the very bottom of the motor, 2 on the sides. These bolts are what keep the set up on the rear panel of the car. Lower the release: With the hatch open, look at the motor release (right on top, where the hatch hook catches), you know how your refrigerator has a button to turn off the light when the door is closed?, so does the trunk motor....its right on top. Hold it down until it stops lowering. As soon as you let go, it will raise.
