you go to th3 store and buy skim milk...... dumb@$$
somehow re-introduce the milk fat into the milk. Or go back in time and stop them from skimming the fat off the milk
Just add a tiny bit of cream to the 2% milk and stir.
Extract the 2% of fat from the milk!!
Yes, skim milk (or skimmed milk) lacks something compared to 2% milk. Skim milk lacks most of the milkfat that the 2% skim milk contains. Whole milk contains something on the order of 4% milkfat, and 2% milk has about half the milkfat of whole milk. Skim milk has most all of that fat removed. The skim milk contains only about 0.1% to 0.4% milkfat, and it is a better choice for those attempting to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight.
yes it spoils alot faster because it has more ingredients
One percent as well as fat-free milk are available, but water is better for you.
No, skim milk has no sugar. However,2% low-fat milk usually contains from 12 to 15 grams of sugar.
Skim milk is made when all the cream (also called milkfat) is removed from whole milk. Whole milk has between 3 and 4% fat. 2% has the milkfat reduced to about half.
You can't add butter to skim milk and make whole milk. What is missing from whole milk is the cream. Butter is made from cream - the two are not equivalent. But...you can add the following 'creams' to 1 cup of skim milk. 1 1/2 teaspoons heavy cream + 1 cup skim milk = 1% milk 1 Tablespoon heavy cream + 1 cup skim milk = 2% milk 2 Tablespoon heavy cream + 1 cup skim milk = whole milk Heavy cream has 36% and 40% milk fat (The initials m.f. will be printed on carton.) 1Tablespoon light cream + 1 cup skim milk = 1% milk 1Tablespoons + 2 teaspoon light cream + 1 cup skim milk = 2% milk 3Tablespoons light cream + 1 cup skim milk = whole milk Light cream has 18%-29% milk fat.
Um, Okay... Milk doesn't come straight from the cow to your milk carton. It gets processed, bleached, pasteurized and all that other good, unnatural stuff. Whole milk has the fat left in it - that's why it's called "whole." But the fat can also be removed to make varying levels of fat content, thus - 2%, 1%, and skim. Whole milk has more like 4-6% fat content.
$2 to $4
Yes, it is bad for you because when they skim the milk even though the fat content is taken out, most of the minerals and protien is taken out as well. Don't drink too much skim milk, it is bad for you. Drink 2% milk.
2 pts if you make it with Skim Milk
This depends on location. Two gallons of milk will cost differently in one part of the country and the other. For instance, two gal. of milk may cost $20, whereas, in another part of the country, that same two gal. may cost only $12.
