Look for flat rice noodles, Beef paste, beef bones fish sauce, siracha (red spicy hot sauce), sweet plum sauce, Basil, green onions, 1 red onion, anise stars, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime. those are the simple ingredients to deal with. if you don't plan on making the broth you could find packets of mixed spices for the broth. Put dried noodles in a bowl of cool water before you start. It will then become soft so you don't have to boil it( it falls apart quickly that way). slice Beef thinly, boil and leave to the side. Boil water in a separate pot... add beef bones. Char the red onion and drop it in the boiling water to add flavor.Also add about 3 anise stars. some salt to taste.
