Go to Ace Hardware with the Key and they will do it for you. Or you can go to the dealership where you bought the car
Car Key Copy San Antonio TX
i payed for a pattern key copy and it was £5.550
Yes, you can copy the key. There is no immobilizer chip in the key.
Yes. Banks and credit unions can keep a copy of key. This is so because if your financial institution has to repo your vehicle for any reason, they already have a copy of the car key to get it where ever the vehicle may be.
For an older car, a locksmith can make a copy of the existing car key to keep as a spare in case you lose your key. If you lose your key and don't have a spare, the locksmith may have to dismantle your lock in order to make a replacement key. For a 'smart key' or an electronic fob, the only option for obtaining a replacement may be going to the dealer to get one.
you can try at the dealer and you will have to proof that this is your car ,you can ask them to make you a copy or ask a locksmith do do it....shop around.
If you have lost your key, you have to get a new ignition for the car. There is no way they can ujust give you one or make one without a copy!
Unfortunately, you'll have to go to the dealership, and the keys can run $30. There is a security chip in the key, and it has to be matched to the car. Most key copy stores will have a blank that looks very similar, but it doesn't have a chip in it.
On many cars you can go to the dealer and he can cut you a key by your giving him the VIN on your car. I assume you have lost your key and don't have one to get a copy made of. Of coure, you can always have a locksmith make you a key from another lock on your car that uses the same key as the ignition. This is what I would do if I didn't have a key to get a copy made of. I think it would be much more economical to have a key made rather than replacing all of the locks on your car.
Camry doesn't have a special security system for keys like Mersedes. If you lost all your key you have to replace all key cylinders (doors, trunk, ignition...). But you have at least one of the master keys left just go in one of the hardware shops and they will make a copy for (to make a copy you don't need a car vin number).
yes
You can get new key from locksmith. Locksmiths make new keys even if you don't have original key. You can also copy down the vehicles vin number and go to the dealer. They can get you a new key with that info but be sure to bring some ID with you.
