Depending on your budget you can get fancy or keep it simple. Most horses don't care that much. Horses need shelter from wind and rain. A simple 3 sided enclosure works fine for most horses. If you can afford it put rubber mats down. This will keep the bedding from getting wet if there is no wooden floor (as in a regular stall). Make sure it is big enough that he can lay down and not get wedged against a wall (caste). He will need a sturdy, safe fence, no barb wire, and a source of water. This is a very basic setup and will do nicely for most horses.
No to horses do NOT build there homes. But they can find shelter in the wild. For horses in captivity they should have some sort of run in shelter against the climates.
I hope this answered your question.
Horses cannot build things. They do not shelter under man made buildings. That's the whole point of them being wild. They huddle together, as far as i know, and may also shelter under natural things like, trees. And it's ''their'' not ''there''.

Better make sure you have somewhere to house it first!
home
Go out on that horse and pick another wild horse and take it back to the ranch ( the ortehr horse will make its own way home) then when you take the orther wild horse home then it will say something like eg. : Would you like to swap Nala for Rose? then you can select yes ( to get the new horse in) or No ( to realese the new horse and get the orther one back)
I lost my horse. I miss my horse. Where is my horse?
a stable
you can board your horse at another farm. that means that you pay the owner of the property money and they allow you to keep your horse there. Boarding stables cost ranges from around 100 to 1000 dollars. Make sure to ask the owner if they will feed your horse for you or if you will have to come and feed your horse yourself. Make sure to ask around to see if the stable you choose has a good reputation.
Albert gets to take home joey(the horse).
