I have made a talk box before. What you need is some surgical tubing, a high current dual pole single throw switch, a small - high powered- speaker and a small sealable box to fit it in. You will also need an amplifier that has the speaker output that you can use. You need to mount the speaker and the switch into the box - wiring the speaker so when you push the switch, it will route the signal to the speaker in the box or back to the speaker from the amplifier. Make sure that the box has a hole in it that you can attach the surgical tubing that is on the same side as the front of the speaker. Attach the tubing to the box. If you want, there are Plumbing fitings that you can buy from your local hardware store that will allow you to remove the tubing from the box. Then seal it all up. You can use silicone for that. run the surgical tubing from the box to the microphone that you are using. The sound will travel through the surgical tubing and into your mouth and then through the microphone.
