Any edit you make to a question on WikiAnswers goes into the history. You can make a contribution by answering a question, editing an answer, or flagging or unflagging an answer. You can also get in the history by discussing a question or changing its categories.
If your asking about the historical count on the contributions list, then the answer is you can no longer add any contributions to this count, any contributions that may already be included will be from the old system of counting contributions.
There is no end to the amount of contributions you can make.

Yes you can. Whenever you ask a question as a member it becomes part of your contributions history. An easy way to find it is to sort your contributions by questions asked. Then just find your question and click on it. Then answer it. Everyone can do this, but others can also contribute to your answer after you enter it.
