You can click the "Hide" button below the contributions in your biopage. Regular contributors cannot view your contributions. But supervisors can view it.
There is no end to the amount of contributions you can make.
Recategorizing and Editing questions is the fastest way to make contributions to WikiAnswers, but all contributions are valued. We do not encourage contributors to contribute for the sole reason of getting contribution points - do what you enjoy!
You can't. Just make a guess.
Any edit you make to a question on WikiAnswers goes into the history. You can make a contribution by answering a question, editing an answer, or flagging or unflagging an answer. You can also get in the history by discussing a question or changing its categories. If your asking about the historical count on the contributions list, then the answer is you can no longer add any contributions to this count, any contributions that may already be included will be from the old system of counting contributions.
WikiAnswers ranks your contributions by how many questions, answers, edits and community work you contribute to the WikiAnswers community.
WikiAnswers does not pay for contributions. All contributors and supervisors are volunteers who love the site concept.
...and you still trail Chris by 99, 141 contributions.
Yes, WikiAnswers does have ranks. The 'ranks' are contributor levels, and if you make a certain amount of contributions, you are upgraded to the next 'rank' or contributor status level.
Editing question categories to place them in their correct categories (or just removing the ones it doesn't belong in) is probably the easiest way to make contributions.
