You can type letters and numbers to make them. For example, <3 represents a heart.
There are probably emoticons out there for baseball. Many websites provide different emoticons, I would suggest Googling emoticons.

When composing a message, click the square smiley face emoticon located to the right of the 'Text Color' and 'Highlight Color' icons below the 'Subject' line. Doing so will reveal 79 emoticons, including a heart (and broken heart) on the bottom row. Click the heart to insert it into the 'Compose' box. You can access a different version of the heart and broken heart in a separate tab of emoticons, viewable by clicking the circular smiley face emoticon below the 79 emoticons.
