you have to have 2 wires. then you put a wire to the positive side of the battery(+) and the other wire to the negative side of the battery(-). then both other ends to the light bulb one end to the side and one end to the bottom.

If the light is still on then the problem was not the battery but was instead the alternator which is more than likely defective.
Make a circuit with 2 wires a batery and a light bulb and touch wire to medle on light bulb
Defective battery, loose or corroded wiring.
The battery light is to show when the alternater is not charging. A new battery wouldn't make any difference.
no it will bloww
A few causes that will make the Battery Light come on are: 1. Faulty Battery 2. Loose Battery Connection 3. Battery is not Charging, ie. Faulty Alternator
Have a light with two wires going from it. Attatch either wire to the sides (+,-) of the battery, with the wire's other end going into a lightbulb.
The flow of electrons from the battery flow through the filament in the bulb causing it to get hot and glow thus producing light.
You need a Battery, Light Bulb, Ammeter, Switch.
you can make the light bulb turn on. Ooh ooh i know. it's a circuit!
A dead cell within the battery itself will drain the battery. There is no fix for this except replacing the battery. You may also have something that is pulling power from the battery. Examples are under hood light, dome light, glove box, trunk, courtesy light, and any numbers of relays.
would a bad battery cable in a 95 toyota corolla make a engine come on?
