Assuming you mean basic cocktail sauce for boiled shrimp, the easiest recipe is: Catsup/Ketchup Horseradish (not horseradish sauce) Lemon Juice 1) Put catsup in a bowl. 2) Grate fresh horseradish into catsup as desired OR Spoon grated horseradish from jar, not horseradish sauce, into catsup as desired. The heat will build as the horseradish marries the catsup overnight...warning, fresh horseradish can be quite spicy. 3) Add a splash of lemon juice to remove any bitter edge the sauce may now have. 4) Let it sit in the fridge for a couple hours, overnight if you can.
