The only way I know of is right-clicking on the program, go to Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, click "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select the closest version of windows in the box., and click OK.
Note - you can also do this in Settings for All users This might work for some software, but using "compatibility mode" will not make it possible to run Wrebbit Puzz 3D (on CD) puzzles under Vista. I have tried this on all of them - Victorian Mansion, Orient Express, Bavarian Castle, Notre Dame, etc. All I get is the message "[program] has stopped working".
Does anyone know how to let me run these 3D puzzles under Vista so I don't have to buy a separate XP PC solely for these games? Thanks in advance.
