This one is easy.. somtimes the Check Engine light comes on because the fuel cap was not secured tightly after fueling. To reset C.E.L remove the negative battery cable from battery teminal wait 30 seconds. Then reconnect and secure batttery cable. If after starting your sedona the light stays off.Problem solved, If C.E.L returns there is probably another fault causing this. Diagnostics will be required...Good luck..2002 Kia sadona owner.
A Million Light Years Away was created in 2002.
You need to have it checked for codes. The light comes on when the engine computer detects a malfunction.
I got b1324 after changing my battery. Kia dealership reset the light and made it go away.
Disconnect battery and leave for about 10 min. Then reconnect. The check engine light went away on mine.
Pull the cover towards you (away from the glass). Then just twist the bulb sockets counter-clockwise about 45 degrees and pull down.
depends on what the light is for? engine light? amber means its not serious but i would get it seen to straight away. the stop light means its serious

The O2 sensors that are the closest to the engine will be the up stream ones. The ones that are further away from the engine are the down stream sensors.
Unscrew license plate and remove to expose light fixtures. Wedge light module away from holes. Replace them and return them to sockets.
Yes. Once the car's computer is no longer see the malfunction, it will no longer turn on the check engine light. Have the car diagnosed to find out the exact problem.
lol had same problem, took to autozone for free read of check engine light. it was the camshaft position sensor, it was ok unless the humidity in the air went up and usually went away after restart. changed it myself $27 part, problem went away light out.
