If he is your boyfriend he should care about you enough to miss you when you are not around for a long period of time. He should miss you anyway. If he doesn't, he's probally cheating on you or you 2 aren't ment to be together.

Instead, I would suggest you remind him of special times you have shared, and/or different things that you really like about him, to know how much you like him as an individual. Anything that will remind him how great things were between you both would help.
That is not a guarantee that it will make him miss you, but you will stand a better chance of becoming closer again. And if you really care about him, and he realizes it, he will be more likely to want to be around you.

∙ 12y agowell this what i did for my ex to miss me:I told him how i felt and wrote some things about him and made him cry and so he thinks about me a lot and wants to get back together.....plus make a poem or a note to him to tell him how you felt. okay?
