How do you make your computer run faster for online games like runescape without paying money for new computer pieces because it freezes up for everything I do on online and other games?

It could be a lot of things, An old computer, a bad computer part, etc.
Try some of these:
-Make sure your internet is up to date(internet explorer just released IE9 I think)
-You could Have a virus so scan your computer
-Try using Disk Defragmenter
-Try using disk clean-up
-Make sure you have good internet connection
Yes, I know you dont want to pay money but if those dont work try these:
-Buy a new Graphics and gaming card or if you have an old computer buy and entirely new computer.

It is not a RuneScape problem, maybe you have a virus or not enough memory.

If it happens very often that can mean three things: 1. the java on your computer isn't updated very often 2. Your computer is old and therefor has a hard time handling mmo's 3.your internet connection is not very strong for it working well in daemonheim; thats because there are not as many players in the dungones as there are in a area like the grand exchange. the more players there are in a area the worst the lag is because there is more data in that one area then in others.
