'ASM' is sort for Assembly, it has nothing to do with sorting algorithms.
Internal sorting it means we are arranging the number within the array only which is in computer primary memory. External sorting it is the sorting of numbers from the external file by reading it from secondary memory.
There are generally eight sorting algorithms that are studied in school by computer science students. They are as follows: insertion, bubble, quick, quick3, merge, shell, heap, and selection sorting. There are different types of sorting algorithms. One would be considered good if it is accurate and efficient. Different types of sorting includes; sequential, ascending, and descending.
Photoshop Lightroom does not have such a tool. Anyway you can use external editing software like Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. See related links for more details.
Pentax cameras are not supported for tethered shooting in lightroom. You can set up tethered shooting by "auto import" function in lightroom. You have to set up original Pentax software for shooting tethered and downloading taken pictures in the folder on your PC that you set in Lightroom to be "watching folder". So you shoot be the pentax software and lightroom imports photos immediately after you shoot.
Re-organizing and sorting the data plus adding data fields.
No but they colaborate. Photoshop have more features but Lightroom have better cappabilities for photographers.
Use lightroom
One would need Photoshop Lightroom to organize and store their photos. There are many other options and software which one could use. Photoshop Lightroom is a very popular software package highly rated by many consumers.
Yes, it is powerful enough to handle Lightroom 3. When installing the software upgrade be sure to back up your data first, install the software, follow the onscreen prompts and remove the older versions of Lightroom (if you have them).
Sadly Microsoft removed the posibility for manual sorting. You can change and edit the sorting way (name, date etc.) from the folder you are in. There is an icon on the top of the window, a bit to the right.
Photoshop Elements is essentially a "Lite" or hobbyist version of the regular Photoshop. Lightroom and Photoshop (either regular or elements) do different things and target different audiences. There is some overlap in image editing functions, but the easiest way to describe it is Lightroom is a complete photo and data management solution. Photoshop is not. So it really depends on who you are and what you want to do with the product. Serious photographers generally purchase Lightroom, whereas folks who want basic image editing might get Elements, and for gold-standard do-all professional-level editing you get the full Photoshop. Plenty of people get both Lightroom and Photoshop. For more in-depth details, see the Related Links.
