No If its electric its electric only
Replace the rocker switch unit in the door. Usually about $10-$15 from wreckers. Common effect is window will go down but no up...(Burnout of switch unit.) Will master on drivers door work window?? If yes, then above is the problem...
dxdv
brake the window
It's possibly the switch or the motor in the door. I have a 99 Nubira (Australia) and the window winder motor died. I got a 2nd hand/used one with the assembly and swapped it. Now it works fine! Jeff in Oz
You cannot override the driver's side power window. What would be the purpose of overriding that window and locking it out? There will always be a driver and that driver will always want to control that window. Unless you are asking how to make the window go up and down manually. Again you cannot accomplish that as it is an electric power window which can only be controlled from the P/W switch. If it is not working then it will have to be repaired.
You can manually roll up a power window by pulling on it. You can also remove the door panel and pull the window up.
Sometimes an electronically controlled (or manually for that matter) mirror will become displaced due to a bump on the housing, which allows a certain amount of movement. This is so the mirror doesn't get snapped off if it gets bumped. When this happens the control mechanism at the back of the mirror is dislodged and must be coaxed back into place, it's not too difficult, just have a good look at it and work out what you need to do.
It cannot be raised manually. You will have to repair it in order to raise the window.
take the door panel off and disconect the wire assembly or window regulator that goes to the power window moter and manually pull the window up.
Dear User, You should be able to open up the side panel fairly easy and you can replace the electric crank with a hand crank. or just fix the electric crank
the easy way is to remove the door panel and cut the regulator cables on both sides of the motor then raise the window and wedge a stick under the window to hold it up
