The appearance of kits for the determination of micro amounts of calcium stimulated

our interest in the use of Eriochrome Blue SE for this analysis. A study of spectrophotometric

curves indicates that, at pH values above 13.7, calcium will complex

and cause a change of dye absorbance while magnesium does not complex with the

dye. A differential spectrophotometric technic is described in this paper in which

the spectrophotometer is set at zero absorbance with a dye-calcium standard solution

or a dye-calcium sample solution as reference and the absorbance of the dye

solution then measured. For a set of standards the absorbance-calcium relationship is

linear. With the Beckman spectrophotometer, Model Dli, it has been found that 1

part of serum to 100 parts of alkaline dye solution (100 A of serum to 10 ml. alkaline

dye solution) can be used. The technic shows greater sensitivity and accuracy than

do previous methods using Eriochrome Blue SE.

Name this compound Ca3(PO4)2?

I have done my best to research this answer and my best assumption is that the substance does not exist. What does exist is Ca(C2H3O2)2 and this would be the formula for calcium acetate. It can not be calcium carbide mixed with calcium hydroxide or other such moiety. Further contributions in the discussion area please.

Why you are using kcl in the calibration of uv visible spectrophotometer?

how do you determine degree of deacetylation of chitosan using UV -vis spectrophotometer

Why using phosphate buffer and magnesium sulphate and calcium chloride and ferric chloride for dilution water in BOD5 test?

magnesium sulphate, calcium chloride and ferric chloride are added to provided optimum environment and phosphate buffer is added to slow down the rate of death of microbes.

The chemical composition of a star can be determined using a?

spectrophotometer or laser spectroscope

Why do too densely coloured samples fail to give proper results using spectrophotometer?

Because we measure transmittance in spectrophotometer and for densely coloured samples transmittance will be very less. So we will not get proper results for absorbance.

Are eggshells a good substitute for teeth?

I Believe so, but I am not sure how accurate they are in propeties. They are what I am using for my science project. I Believe so, but I am not sure how accurate they are in propeties. They are what I am using for my science project.

How do you use diphenyl amine to estimate DNA?

Diphenyle amine reacts with DNA and liberates inorganic ortho phoshate of Dna. amine group of diphenylamine is combined with DNA before the phosphate group is released from the sugar. By this action DNA solution gets dark blue color which was estimated by using spectrophotometer.

What is superphosphate fertilizers?

a naturally slow release phosphate fertilizer. plants need three major nutrients: nitrogen, phosphate, and potash (potassium) or NPK for short.Super phosphate is a fertilizer produced by the action of concentrated sulfuric acid H2SO4on powdered phosphate rock. Ca3(PO4). Calcium sulphate and calcium phosphate is yielded.3 Ca3(PO4)2 + 6 H2SO4 → 6 CaSO4 + 3 Ca(H2PO4)2Tomato plants and any flowering plant can use 1/3 more super phosphate if you are using NPK 10 10 10. Apply on the surface of the soil and it will be slow acting dissolving into the soil over a six month period with normal watering. The extra phosphate will also help build a stronger root and trunk system. In addition to adding phosphate it adds calcium, and sulfur to your garden soil. Since the phosphate rock it is made from is not pure it adds magnesium, manganese, copper, iron and other minor elements to your soil. The reaction with water is slightly acid. Your garden should be checked once a month for Ph, nitrogen, phosphate and potassium. Cheap test kits can be bought at your garden store.
