Go http://blmodding.wikidot.com/how-to-mod-it and over on the left side there is a section that says "Modding Borderlands" and many sub-sections with different tutorials. Basically you just get a save file of the internet and transfer it onto your xbox basically.
or go to Google and search willowtree for borderlands
You have to hack or MOD the game. or a MODER gives it to you.

After you repair a Claptrap, open your inventory, scroll down to the packpack mod and click it.
....You can't so either tell them to take off the Mod or just play with someone else.
Its about luck. Thats a class mod which means if you have luck you'll find one in chests or as a drop from an enemy. It usually has a Team Ammo Regeneration and increase in random sentry skills (The mod is Roland only). This combined with Brick's team health increase would be a huge help.
Class mods allow you to change classes in game. For example, equipping the correct class mod can change your hunter from an assassin to a scavenger or a survivor. If you're asking if you can change from say the Siren to the Solider in mid-game while keeping your quest progress and levels, no. You'll have to start a new game as one of the other characters. If you're playing Borderlands on the PC, there may be a patch or mod that allows you to do this.
Borderlands traditions tend to be mixed. Please specify WHICH borderlands you are referring to.
Go to your inventory and click the mod you want to use, it will install provided you have the mod slot available (unlocked), this only becomes available as you level up and complete the required tasks. Your mod slot is the third slot of the three on the right hand side of your inventory page, just below the Shield and Granade slots.
the creator of borderlands is Gearbox
