I guess you want to change brake pads right?? to do that you need to disarm the caliper from the original position,, then, the caliper piston need's to be adjusted back so you can put in place the new pads,,so you need to "screw" the piston,, if you look at the piston, it has a cross lines,, in that lines you can use a large screw driver or something like that to turn the piston,, turn clockwise to insert the piston to the back position,, after that you dont need to open it again,, it will auto adjust on its position when you press the brake pedal 4 or 5 times,, (all this procedure its for the rear disc calipers,,for the front calipers you just need to prees it down).
