You need to clarify this a bit. If you are using the manufacturers remote to operate someone else's device then you need to contact the manufacturer of the remote. Example..If you have a Sony TV and the remote will operate any VCR too then you need to contact Sony. There are remotes that will run any device like One For All remotes.
