hi urmm mine was on the boot. open it and look up to where the hatch bit is (the bit that keeps the boot shut) lol sorry its not technical!!! ------- hope i helped
They can be pried open from inside the boot, a little patience and a strong screwdriver.
It depends on if you only locked the doors. If so yes. If not... NOOO
Likely the reason for failure is the cable is off or shorted inside the hinge. Solution. Cut cable and pull it out from hinge tube reconnect the wires as per their color code and boot will open again.
open the front boot, and it should be on the passenger side of the car on the inside. hope this helps :)
The words "Boot Open" means the trunk lid is open. Cheers, Jeff

If you mean the tailgate stuck shut, I had the same problem with my 1999. I was quoted £300 to fix it because I was told it was 'a major electical fault'. I took it home, cut open the cover inside the boot, reached down inside the middle and pulled the 2 metal rods to release the boot. When open, you can unscrew properly and replace/ repair solenoid. Also would be a good idea to grease it all up.
I think it's open in the 19th day you're with your panda.
