Open the handle while pushing the inner workings of the latch open.
I think it is the little black latch that tells the car the door is open. The latch is very weak, and could be jarred loose. I think it is the little black latch that tells the car the door is open. The latch is very weak, and could be jarred loose.
try the door.
ideaswill it open from the outside and not the inside if so then it's a child safety lock located on the door jam near the latch if not you could have any of the following broken lock, door latch or the latch is just stuck.
Get a new car you loser.
i have that problem and i just slipped in my car key and popped it open...i had to take off the piece that is supposed to latch it and i just open it manually now
Did you check the door latch/lock. The latch part might be broken on the inside. If you have the door already open it is easy to chisel out the old door latch inside of the door.
Pull the INSIDE handle as if you were going to open the door and then use a flat blade screwdriver ( or any screwdriver ) to move the latch sections apart
I have dealt with this problem before at our bodyshop. Basically, a spring inside the latch has broke, and now there is no way to release the latch, even by manually pulling on the release lever at the latch. Prepare to replace the latch, as it is not repairable. Be prepared to be working inside the car. To make it easier to work, unbolt the seat, and remove from the car. Remove the door panel, and also the door handle. You will have to chisel at the plastic part of the latch, and break it off bit by bit. Eventually you will be able to release the latch. good luck
what is wrong with the door latch? will it not open/latch? what year is the vehicle? all of these are needed to answer your question.
