Make sure all the doors are unlocked, because the fuel door also locks when all the doors are locked. just press in on the right side of the fuel door, and it should open as long as it is unlocked.....i have also seen the locking rod be faulty and not unlock, if this happens you can unlock the door from the right side of the trunk behind the trunk panel

It's fairly large in diameter and there are 3 hoses going to it. You will have to replace the clamps on it because they are the type you have to break in order to change it.
