With a long ty-rap or 2 of them one around the lever and the otherone through it to form a handle.

It is called a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), and is located on the throttle body butterfly cross shaft opposite the throttle cable cam.

You need to go under the car behind the grill with a long screwdriver and pop it manually.

how to open hood with a broken cable on a 1994 ford explorer

Acceleration Cable broken broken, you dump!

It depends on where its broke at. Is the cable broken at the mechanical part or is it broken before that?

If the cable isn't broken then you shouldn't have any issues opening the hood...

The 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.1 liter engine starter is located on the bottom of the engine near the back. You can follow the positive battery cable directly to the starter.

If the cable is broken you should replace it.

Broken wire, or broken end connector ? If the cable (wire) is still in tact, just grab the effected cable and pull the cable, while pulling on the door handle release. The cable will then pull the latch and open.

If you can find the cable under the hood, or if you can get to the cable where it's broken, a pair of vise-grips and a healthy pull should open it up.

Buy the Cable , then remove the screws that hold the broken cable and attach the new cable back.

If the cable is broken at the handle in the car, you may be able to grap the broken cable with a pair of locking pliers. If you can, pull it while you have someone pushing down on the hood. That will make it easier for it to unlatch. If it's broken where you can't reach it, oh boy, you may be able to grab the cable housing through the grill, cut it and grab the inner cable that way. Hope this helps. Good luck. 1

don't have, its just the cap on top of the engine

broken throttle cable.

purchase a replacement cable and install it. its not reccomended to repair a broken cable

Loosen the shifter cable not on each end of the shifter cable. The shifter cable will come off. Reverse the process to install the new shifter cable.

There is no cable.. its electronic

corrosion, a broken connector or conductor inside the cable.

If you look under the truck, near the left rear side of the transmission, check for a cable secured to the transmission by a bolt and clip. This is the speedometer cable, which is probably broken in your case, if it is a 4x4 truck, the cable is on the left rear of the transfer case. You can buy just a cable from your parts store, pull the cable from the housing, it should have a square end about 1-2 inches long on each end of the cable. The cable is secured to the back of the speedometer by a spring clip. If you pull out a cable that is not suare on both ends, it is broken!!

Rear seat cable latch system broken and does not work. Seat does not pull forward to allow access to the 3rd row.
