You have to download mods. They give you more things, like more creatures.
In your minecraft.jar file, (which you need winRAR or 7-Zip to open with), delete the META-INF file.
What I think you're referring to is the mod for Minecraft "Too Many Items" if you download and enable the mod it should be very easy to do. To simply open up the "cheat box" or menu press the I or E key to open your inventory.
firstly download mod then got to start menu and type run then type %appdata% then enter and look for .minecraft folder open it and go to bin then open the mnecraft .jar folder with winrar then copy and paste the too many items into mincraft.jar delete meta.inf then run minecraft. and enjoy

BEFORE YOU DO ANY OF THIS CLOSE MINECRAFT First, download winRAR, run and instal it and everything. then download Too Many Items and keep the window open. next, go to the start button at buttom left of your computer screen. type in %appdata% After that opens, double click the .minecraft folder, then double click the bin folder. the double click area where it says minecraft with a picture of some books on the left. then drag in the Too Many Items into the thing you opened from the .minecraft folder. once dragged in, delete the META-INF folder if it is in the folder. Lastly, close all and play minecraft. when you open minecraft, open your enventory and hit the letter "o"
Yes, too many items is free :)
The "too many items" mod jacks up chests. Turn it off, or accept the limitation.
if you mean a black screen then it means the too many items you downloaded dose not support the version of minecraft you have the 1.9 too many items
Not including potions, there are 300 items and blocks if it isn't modded.
I assume you mean allowing the items to show up in Too Many Items. I believe there is some kind of config item in the .minecraft folder.
You can find it on the Minecraft forums.
Open the chest and then you will be able to drag items into the chest, in which they will then be removed from your inventory.
