there is a cable that runs from the trunk release lever to the latch inside the trunk. you should be able to disconnect it from the latch inside the trunk

You can pull on the cable for the fuel door. The cable is located in the trunk behind the side panel.

You will find the key code like most 90 models honda. where the trunk lever is. first you remove the cover and pull out the key cylinder and imprinted on the side will be the key code.
I had the same problem with my 1992 Accord. Replacement of the trunk lid gasket fixed the leak, but I had to special order the gasket from a dealer.

The lever is on the left side of the dash about 8 to 10" from the door.This lever can be locked with the key, so that the trunk cannot be accessed without unlocking the lever with the key. Depends on how big each luggage bag is. The 2012 Honda Accord trunk will hold 14.7 cubic feet of luggage with the back seat up. Lay the back seat down and it will hold twice that.
