Hi,
The shocks in the back of the van are "automatic" in that they fill and empty based on the height of the back of the van and a couple of position sensors that are back there. This also assumes that your air pump is installed and working properly. If you have that pump, you should also have an air hose that can attach inside, which is used for filling bicycle tires, rafts, that kind of thing. I believe there is a switch that will turn that pump on manually too.
