My vectra is a 1999 S plate and has a factory fitted immobilizer, I think that alarm/ immobilisers were fitted as standard the year after mine.
The alarm is part of the programming of the BCM and can not be removed.

If it was easy to remove or disable it would not be much good as an alarm would it? Think about it. An alarm that can be removed is like a lock that can be picked.
