The capacity of an average kitchen sink is 20 litres. Tools you use to remove or replace it are a screwdriver and a pair of water pump pliers or a pipe wrench
Place some towels under the sink to catch any drips while doing this procedure. Turn off the valves under the sink that supply water to the faucet. Disconnect the supply lines to the faucet. Place a bucket under the drain pipe. Disconnect the p-trap. Drop the trap into the bucket. The mechanics of the sink have been disconnected now the sink needs to be removed. If it is a pedistal sink, look for screws or bolts unterneath by the faucet. I've installed in vanity, those sinks are usually glued to the cabinets. Use a prybar to separate it. http://www.lets-do-diy.com/Projects-and-advice/Bathroom/Basins-and-bidets.aspx
All you hace to do is un screw the faucet take the sink part off, If that dosent work then call a plumber. Or your dad to come fix it
What is the minimum distance between the bottom of a sink and the trap attachment for a bathroom sink
There should be a nut around the chrome pipe holding it to the brass. Loosen the nut and pull the chrome pipe out.
You cannot do this without a way of stopping the water. The sink sprayer is hooked up through your kitchen faucet for a reason. When the faucet is shut off, no water can come through the sprayer. If you hook up the sprayer to a water filter, the handle on the sprayer cannot handle the pressure of the water system and will continually run when the handle packs it in, more than likely when you are not home!
Try eBay.
There is a long threaded bolt, a nut tightens against a round plate that press's against the bottom of sink, remove nut, remove plate, remove water and sprayer(if it has one) lines, squeeze copper lines together so they fit back up through hole in sink. Also look the new one you get .
That would depend on how many holes the sink has .... If it is a one hole type you will need a pull out spray faucet or look at the Delta line
It depends on the type of paint. Lacquer thinner will remove most oil based and latex paints from a paint sprayer, however, spray gun cleaner will remove it better.
The tap. Could also be a spigot. If you are referring to the black, white, chrome, or otherwise colored handle with a thumb or index finger trigger, it is a hand sprayer, or just a sprayer.
Where is the rubber tube in the sink? The sprayer has a hose on it that is usually vinyl. The drain may be plastic or PVC, but there shouldn't be any rubber hose connected with a kitchen sink.
the purpose of a vacuum breaker is to keep the dirty water that might be in the sink from syphining back through the sprayer hose and going into the public water system.
A power sprayer with water should do the trick.
Permafrost
The diverter in the faucet is sticking. Instead of the water coming out of the neck of the faucet it is trying to go two places at the same time. This causes turbulence and the hammering.
I have an Aquasource kitchen faucet with sprayer. The sprayer started leaking so I called Aquasource customer service and they sent out a replacement free of charge. I had difficulty figuring out how to remove the old sprayer. After several minutes of searching online and studying the new parts, the answer presented itself. You simply squeeze the outer clip and wiggle while pulling down. If you've never attempted this task this reply may seem ignorant, but once you have to perform this task you'll understand why this reply is necessary. It appears you are going to break the part, or logically the clip must be removed to access clips for you to remove the sprayer connection--on the contrary, just squeeze the outer clip and pull down.
