<> You may however rename folder to name of your choice!
you get a .zip of the texture pack, and copy it into the texture packs folder in the minecraft directory
Put the texture pack file in the texture pack folder. Open .mineraft folder and then the bin folder. Inside the bin there should be the texture pack folder. There you go.
You dont put them in your texture pack folder, hence the name "texture pack folder". You need to get a program such as 7ZIP or WINRAR and extract both the mod folder and MC jar. Drag ALL mod files in the MC Jar and delete "Meta-Inf"
You need to make sure that the texture pack is saved in the minecraft folder in the texture pack folder.
Download the texture pack and put it into the Minecraft Texture Pack folder.
Step 1: Download the texture pack (don't extract the files!) Step 2: Open minecraft Step 3: Go to texture packs Step 4: There should be a button that says "Open file location" or something like that. Click on it. It will open a folder. Step 5: Copy and paste the texture pack into that folder Step 6: YOU'RE DONE! Just select your texture pack in the menu.
You basically use a HD texture pack for Minecraft in the same way as a normal texture pack. First off, to use a texture pack you must first download one, you can find plenty on Minecraftforum.net. After you have downloaded your texture pack, you then place the .Zip texture pack file into the "texturepacks" folder. But for a HD texture pack you must first download MCpatcher, which allows you to use HD texture packs, you can also find MCpatcher on Minecraftforum.net or you can just simply google it, and like before, you just place your texture pack into the "texturepacks" folder. After you have done this, Run minecraft and click on the "Mods and Texture packs" option, then the texture pack you have placed in that folder will appear as an option in this page. Simply click the texture pack then click "Done". All you need to do now, is play :D.
You will need to place the adventure map in the saves file. The easiest way to get to the saves file is to open up minecraft and go to the texture packs. Then click view texture pack folder. When you are in the texture packs file, just go back a couple of files in your .minecraft and there will be a folder called saves. BOOM you're done! :)
Simply download the texture pack and place the zip file in the texturepacks folder in the .minecraft directory
You just download a texture pack online, open you're texture pack folder through minecraft (or %appdata%), drag the texture pack into the folder, and select it though minecraft.
Open minecraft.jar, extract all the files, delete the .class files and edit the .png files. Then, zip the up and put them in your texturepacks folder and you are done!
Go into minecraft, click "Mods and texture packs" then click default. If you did not install the texture pack by dragging the texture folder into the Mods and texture packs folder then we might have a problem. If you installed the texture pack by dragging the files with 7-Zip or WinRAR into your minecraft.jar then you will have to start up minecraft, but before you log in, click "Options" then force update. THIS WILL ALSO DELETE ALL MODS YOU HAVE ON!
