You can add a PDF to your Facebook (or other social media) posts by first publishing the PDF online and then posting a link to the PDF. The easiest way to post the PDF online is to use a cloud storage provder like Google Drive or Dropbox and then share the file using a share link.
If you want to track the file and know how many times it's been downloaded or viewed check out a document tracking tool like www.orangedox.com

I think you don't. If they wanted you to post images in that section (and PDFs are, basically, images) then they'd allow images in that section.
Go to www.adobe.com and there you can download Adobe Reader a free software that displays the PDF file. With the file open select the type that you want to post and Copy it as you normally do on the computer, then Paste it into where ever you want. This will work unless the PDF file is Copy protected, if you can not Copy and Past as normal that is the case.

Converting a Word file into a PDF is actually very simple, and most modern tools already have this built in. If you’re using Microsoft Word, the easiest way is: Open the Word document Click File Select Save As (or “Export”) Choose PDF as the file type Save the file That’s it — Word will automatically convert the document into a PDF while keeping the layout intact. You can also do it in other ways: Google Docs: Upload the Word file, then go to File → Download → PDF Document Print to PDF (Windows/macOS): Use the print option and select “Save as PDF” instead of a printer Online converters: Upload the Word file and download it as a PDF (useful if you don’t have Word installed) In most cases, the built-in Word export option is the most reliable because it preserves formatting better than many third-party tools.

In short, you can't. Rar is a compressed file type, much like zip is. It's the files inside that matter, which is another topic entirely. Decompress it using a program like 7-zip , then see if there's a post with how to insert the files within it into a pdf.
