If you are fitting them to an old countertop this is a good solution on 'right angle edge' counter tops. I've done a few, and first I wash the existing top with lacquer thinner to degrease it. I measure and cut the new top slightly larger if possible (rout those edges later) -If cutting apiece less than 48 inches, I scribe it on BOTH sides and snap it over a 2x4. If longer than 48 inches and there is room, I cut it on my portable tablesaw with a 'Plywood veneer blade'. This is a special 7 1/4 blade with NO 'offset' on the 120 teeth. That takes 2 steady handed people.
I use a spray contact adhesive called 'Sta-Put' - available where you buy laminates. There are a few kinds, but I like this best. -It usually takes 2 careful people to lay it on,starting at one end and smoothing it down firmly as you lay it. REMEMBER it sticks firmly as soon as you lay it -NO second chances. -I usually fit wood edging after routing the outer edge.
Arborite and formica are basically the same thing - a laminate commonly used on countertops. Arborite is made in Canada while Formica is similar product used in the States.

You need to find the hardest enamel you can to do this and still have a useable countertop. If this arborite was in my kitchen or bathroom, I'd glue new arborite sheet over it instead of fooling around painting it. These surfaces get way too much use for any paint to stand up to.
Any baby sheets that are meant for cribs will fit the DaVinci well.
