add ethanol onto the thin cell layer on the slide and watch under a microscope. the cell membrane moves away from the cell wall as the cell is becoming plasmolized and the red dye of the onion cell spreads as there is no longer a membrane to contain it
When I did the lab, I took just a bit of one layer of onion, put it on a slide and dropped a little iodine on it so you can see it better. I put a cover slip over it after that was done. Hope that helps!
Firstly take forceps then take out thin onion layer from it .place onion layer on the slide and drop some ink drops(atleast 3) on it for a clearer vision and then cover it with a cover slipHUMAN EPITHELIAL CELLS
Epithelial cells cover the body's surface and line its cavities.
PLANT CELLS
No chloroplasts in cheek and onion cells
Onion cells do not have chloroplasts because the onion is underground where there is no light. Without light chloroplasts have no purpose, so onion cells just don't have them.
All cells have cytoplasm, so yes, onion cells do have cytoplasm.
No, Onion cells does not contain chloroplast
Onion cells are rectangular in shape.
All organisms are made of cells. An onion is and organism, hence all parts of an onion are made of cells.
No chloroplasts in cheek and onion cells
Between the 2 cells that are cheek and onion cells, the one that has a regular arrangement and structure are onion cells. Cheek cells have an irregular shape.

A onion cell is : 0.2 mm
The cells of the onion appeared to be crooked.
Yes, you can.

Bacterial cells are prokaryotic and the cells of an onion are eukaryotic.
