Before hand you can: * Select an appropriate time. This would not be in the middle of a crowded hall, unless you make a bit of a scene first, and get people's attention. Your goal is to make people think you have fainted, not get stepped on and actually get killed. * Start slowing down if you are walking, and hold your head a little, like you have a headache, squint your eyes and sigh a little; but don't overdo this. * Stop talking. Not suddenly though, just slow down gradually until you stop. Blink and squint your eyes like you are trying to focus (but just a few times, or it will seem like you have something in your eye, or people may think you are upset). * Don't, at any point, be energetic. To make it believable, you need to be weak and lightheaded for a while before you go down. Gradually lose focus on what you are doing and become weaker and weaker. * Say that you feel kinda weird and that you think you need a glass of water or some fresh air. Maybe ask someone to open a window. If you are windowless or have no water around just say you think you need to sit down, or go out for fresh air. Sit for a bit and get up slowly. Then stumble a bit and fall forward. Before you do that say "I just need something". Sounds dramatic, but not like something from Shakespeare. Then to actually faint: * Bend at your ankles, bend at your knees and collapse vertically at first, until you start to topple * Be very loose * The aim is to hit the ground with your lower parts first * Hit the ground with your knees first * Then your thighs and then your torso but do this fast or it will look fake * DO NOT stick out a hand to break your fall * Use your shoulder to protect your head from the fall * A crumple is what you are looking for
