hahs
I have found that Dutch Haas is pronounced that way; Ha like ha ha and a soft s.
I assume many German Haas families do too, as this is overwhelmingly the most common pronunciation.
However, my family (Haas) is German but we pronounce our name h-long_A-z, like "haze". There are also German Haas families in Australia and Missouri that pronounce their name "haze".
So don't assume.
The word is "Pferd," which is pronounced sort of like "pfay-utt."
Herr, German for Mr. or Sir, is pronounced like 'hair' is English
The German word for Mister is "Herr."
Herr is mister in German for example: Herr Schiller = Mister schiller
Herr
The German word herr is equivalent to the English word Mister.
'lubh' is not a German word.
הער, her (like the German herr).
The word "German" in German is pronounced as "deutsch."

"Herr" is the translation of "Mister" or "Mr."For example :- "Mr Smith" becomes "Herr Schmidt"herrHerr
"Frau", the German word equivalent of "Mrs." in English. Because "Herr" is Mr., his spouse would be Mrs.: Frau.
