There's not much to it. Remove the ash tray and you will see two Phillips head screws. Once you take those out gently pull on the plastic you have loosened up and it will pop off. There are metal clips that secure it on the upper left and right sides. This will expose the screws holding the radio in.
You'll need a wiper arm puller, pretty easy takes less than 5 mins to pull
Pop the hood theirs a black box with some latches on the side, pop the latches lift the top and then pull the old air fliter out and lay the new one in there shut it and latch it back...
There is a fuse puller located on the far right side of the fuse panel by the steering wheel. It is a black pincer looking device about 1.5 inches long. Just slip the clamp over the fuse and gently pull.
just behind the blower motor under the passanger side dash is a plug that is the risistor. two screws hold it in place. just remove the two screws and pull out. xterraparts.com has themm for about $19.

The 2001 Nissan Xterra has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.
Pulling the trailer is not a problem the issue is stopping it with the xterra. = ask yourself == Does trailer have brakes? Surge or electric will be needed.

I have a 2003 xterra 4 x 4 and I pull a 4,300 coachman travel trailer with it. It will pull the trailer provided that you have a weight equalizing hitch and trailer brakes. You have to pull the trailer with the automatic transmission out of over drive.
