I am assuming purge the pump of air---all you need to do is fill the fluid level to the full line. Then, get both front tires off the ground using a jack and jack stands. Next, start the car and very slowly turn the steering wheel left to right and then back to center. You will hear some noise from the air passing throughout the system. Recheck fluid level and repeat above steps. If system still sounds loud let car sit for 10 minutes and go through procedure.
