How do you put a Honda shadow on its centerstand?

It's very simple...even for a small person like me. Left hand goes on the left grip,right hand goes on the rear frame support handle,your right foot presses the center stand down,make sure the bike is level and both tips of the stand are touching pavement at the same time,next you do 3 things at once...press down the stand firmly,pull up on the rear frame grip and the front left grip. I've had 750 Fours,Virago 920s and 1100 Shadows and 850 Guzzis easily up this way. If you are tall or muscular,another way is to straddle the bike with your right foot firmly planted on the pavement,use your left foot to press down on the center stand lever and pull back and up on the handlebars. I wish the newer bikes (other than BMW and Moto Guzzi and a couple others) came with these. Mike V. 40 year biker
