anything is possible, but that would be almost impossible with out rebuilding the entire suspension and frame work of the car
You are right. A friend of mine did it and it was horrible. You would have to rebuild the entire front frame and everything. For all the work you would have to do, it really isn't worth the hassle. Alot of the parts you have to machine yourself or re-machine the existing parts. There are plenty of add-ons available for Dodge shadows that can give you in excess of 300 horses. Cheaper to go that way. besides..with gas being $4 a gallon, a V8 would beat the point of the economical lil car the shadow has been known for.
If it has oil caps on both valve covers, you can use either.
If the same engine, and both either 2wd or 4wd then yes. If one is 2wd and one 4wd, then no.
No, they had a 259v8 in a 1955 dodge C3 pickup assuming its a v8. Not all of the C series had v8's.
Block and heads are the same, manifolds and oil pan are different.

Some of the internal parts are the same, but the cases are different. The 2wd will not have anywhere to bolt the transfer case to.
It is inside the tank, part of the fuel pump module.
Sure. The real question is, "Why?"
