Its a relatively straight forward procedure. If you have a factory installed damper you can clearly see the attachment points. One on the frame mount and another on the drag link. The only trouble you might encounter is getting the old on off. Its a press on stud at the steering linkage and often requires liberal use of penetrating oil, heating with a propane torch, and sometimes the valiant use of a 2.5 lb sledge.
