You have to make sure the Windows Movie Maker video you created is finalized first. The final step is to Publish or Finish the video since a Windows Movie Maker project file (MSWMM) can't be opened/used in any other manner than in the program itself.
Once you have finished/published you video, open you Windows DVD Maker and follow the instructions in the program to burn the video to DVD.

You need a DVD-RW disk to burn the Windows Movie Maker file to before it can be played in at DVD player.
Your JVC Hard disk camcorder imports files in a .MOV format that is NOT compatible with Windows Movie Maker. These are the only file name extensions Windows Movie Maker will import:.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, or .wmvFiles formatted with .MOV and .mp4 extensions will need to be converted before you can import and edit them in Windows Movie Maker. What you need to do is download a Video Converter. Free video converters are available online. Simply Google: free video converters.Once you have a converter downloaded, locate/import your camcorder (.MOV) video files into the converter. Follow the conversion instructions making sure your "Output Source" is one of the above mentioned formats. I tend to use .wmv or .avi in Windows Movie Maker, but any extension listed will work.
put a different disk in there and make a new entire movie
Once you have downloaded Windows Movie Maker the easiest way to open it is:> Click Start, All Programs, Windows Movie Maker (icon) from the listIf you can't see an icon for the program;> Click Start, Computer, Local Disk (C:), Program Files, Windows Movie Maker, MOVIEMK (Application)Or,Command Prompt - type in: MOVIEMK.exe
There are no media limits in Windows Movie Maker as far as I know. However, most projects should run no longer than the disk capacity (if you intend to burn it). And too, consideration must be given to video quality in regards to length. So, time/duration does impact finalization of the project to some extent.
eather you gather pictures or clips from the internet and put them in a program that runs them like windows movie maker. then you add sound or music to it.you could spoof a movie by puting the disk in and adding or changing whatever you want!
My mom told me to finalize my disk so I did. I tried dragging it onto windows live movie maker and finding it in the files but it wasn't there. Later when my mom didn't want to help me she told me to make another video then try again. So I tried unfinalizing my disk but it didn't let me annd it makes me sad :(
click on the little disk in the top corner that says burn and then u can burn it
No, Windows Movie Maker is a free download. But, the program already comes free with Windows operating systems. So unless your current Movie Maker is not working properly and you wish to download and reinstall the program again, you don't need to download it.By the way, if you own a Mac... you can't download Windows Movie Maker at all. Mac machines include iMovie software for video editing if I am not mistaken. (And I could be mistaken since I haven't used/owned a Mac for many, many moons now).
If your Windows Movie Maker is freezing up... there is a reason. As a matter of fact, there could be several reasons. So, this is what I suggest you do:> Defrag your hard drive, do a disk cleanup and full virus scan of your computer> Ensure Automatic Updates are turned ON for Windows UpdatesTry opening and using Windows Movie Maker again. If it is still freezing up, it is possible there may be some damaged or corrupt program files. In this case, it is best to re-installWindows Movie Maker again.Download the appropriate Windows Movie Maker version for your OS (operating system). Version 2.1 is for XP. Version 2.6 is for Vista/Windows 7. Or if you have Vista/Windows 7, you can download Windows Live Movie Maker. For download sites, type: Windows Movie Maker (and the version you need) into the search engine on your browser.
If you have the new Windows 7 operating system, you DON'T have Windows Movie Maker.
