There is a peg just behind the top of the seat, you pull the peg up and then the seat can be pulled down. There is also a latch behind that seat that you can access from inside the trunk to get the seat down if the first method doesn't work.
I need help. prior owners kids broke both seat latches to lay down seats. I took seat pad out thinking I could get behind seats to release. do not work. is there another way I can get seat backs out. trunk lock is missing and I need to go through back seats to fix latch,
There is no distributor on the 2001 Echo, as it is electronic ignition. The spark plug wires and boots are under the piece of black plastic on top of the engine. Just remove the screws that hold it down and take the black plastic off and everything is there
fold down the back seats and lift the whole back shelf off and then you can pop off the covers off from the back of that shelf
Follow the positive battery cable down to the engine. It is bolted to the starter.
Follow the big hoses, its in a black box near the engine, with 4 clips holding it down, two in front, and two hinged clips in the back. Its best (and easiest) to disconnect the air hoses before opening the air filter box.
1. Hold down the "AM" button until you hear a beep. 2. Use buttons "1" and "2" to set the clock. This works on a 2004 Toyota Echo with CD player "32809" (Australia)
When You Come Back Down was created in 2001.
In the engine bay , on the right side there is a fuse box , take the cover off , and turn cover upside down to see which on is the EFI fuse , if im not mistaken its the second to last , a green 30
You should be able to do that. There are two nobs one per each side you have to pull out, if you want to fold the seat. You can fold one side only if you want to.
is your toyot a saloon or estate and what year
I've never heard of any cars doing this, but if true, it sounds like a great feature to me. It would protect your brakes from overheating in an exteme case, but also will save your brake pads from wearing too fast. Since I don't see how this could be happening as the result of a defect, I'd assume it is designed this way intentionally. My 2000 and 2001 echo's do not do this.
The best way to put down back window in a Toyota 4Runner is to put it down with the key fob. However, if that does not work, you can utilize the switch on the dash.
All the models that are double cab have a roll down back window.
