I put one in an older model 4 cyl - there is a blank plug in the driver's side of the engine block - it's really thin and just pressed in place. You tap it out with a long srift of some sort (try not to drive it into the engine block). Then, the block-heater element is inserted and a bolt on the outside is tightened up which locks it in place. If you buy the block heater new, it should come with a little generic flier on how to install it. Oh, and the plug was towards the back of the engine, but it may be in a different location on a 95. Just unhook the hoses from the heater core and put a tube are something in the middle of them and clamp them together.
take out the heater core then put the new one the same way you took out the old one.... Good Luck!
hello this is what you have to do you have to take the dash all the way out of your truck and take the heater box out and then put it all back to together
Most likely your heater core is leaking.
Your system could be low on coolant to flow through the heater core. You may also have a blockage somewhere preventing coolant flow into the heater core. If you can hear your blower motor blowing, perhaps the dash was put back into place incorrectly and the heat is being diverted away from it's intended path.
If they disconnected the heater core, it means it was leaking. Get a manual on your car from the parts store and it will show you how to replace the heater core also
put new ones on
You put a for sale sign on it!

Just un hook the hose's from heater core and put a piece of pipe in them or something and hook them together.
You have to take out the whole heater and air condiasioning system out and replace the new heater core in. When you replace the heater core, you firset have to put the air condiasoning system in then the heating system/ heater core. When you take the old systems out, you first have to take out the A.C then the heater.
remove the four nuts in the engine bay on the heater box near where the heater core hoses enter. Drain coolant remove the hoses and pull the heater box out from the inside of the car. Remove clips holding heater core, than put your new one in.
