The tube that holds the check dipstick is the only way to add fluid. Add slowly with motor running and up to operating temperature. Add some, continue to let it run for a minute or two, then check the level with dip stick. then repeat until proper level is reached. All of this is done with the engine running and at normal running temperature. I find it a tedious process but it is important to get the fluid level correct. These transmissions are rather temper mental so take the time to get it right.
