Well, Rubber bands are given to you by your orthodontist. If they showed you how to do it, and you can't remember, or they didn't take the time to show you, here is how to attach them. First of all, you need the small rubber bands from your orthodontist. Now you hook it on one of the hooks, and stretch it gently to the next hook. If you can't do it with your fingers, try using tweezers, because it can reach in small areas. Make sure you wash your hands first, and take them out before eating! Good Luck!

When the orthodontist tell you that you need rubber bands, they will show you how to put them on (there are different ways to but rubber bands on) and then they will make sure that you know how to put them on.
