Here's an example of how we can convert an audacity file to a CD. We will assume the audacity file to be in .avi format.
We need a program that does the magic for us. Get the program called Cucusoft. You can find it online. Just install it and keep ready before we start.
Once everything's in place, here are the instructions to get started:
1. Launch Cucusoft AVI to VCD|DVD.
2. You will find a radio button "Avi to Vcd". Please select it.
3. Select tab of "merge" or "batch".
4. Now, click open Avi file to open the Avi file.
5. Set your preference: region "4″ in green line can set the output MPEG properties.
6. Next, click on "Start to Covert" button so that it starts to convert the file.
7. Once clicked, a dialog will popup automatically.
8. Once you finish converting the file, the popup dialog will close automatically.
Happy to help you.
I took this from audacity.com:

After making a recording or editing a file in Audacity, follow these steps to save your work on an audio CD:
To make a disc you can play in normal CD players, make sure to create a "music" or "audio" CD (not a "data" CD). Use CD-R discs, because some players cannot read CD-RW. You can burn only 74 minutes or so onto an audio CD - this is a limitation of the audio CD format.
Some CD software will burn only 16-bit, 44.1KHz stereo sound files. If your CD recording software won't open your sound file, export the file again after choosing the following settings in Audacity:
For helpful tips on CD burning with Windows Media Player and iTunes, and help on burning longer "data" CDs, see How_to_burn_CDs on the Audacity Wiki.

There are several computer programs that show the audio in visual form and it can be manipulated. Audacity is a good free program. search for "Audacity recording software".
If the CD Player will not read the CD then either there is something wrong with the CD or the CD player or the CD or CD player needs to be cleaned.
No, you cannot put an iMovie on a CD, but you can a DVD if you have the app iDVD. However, if you want to put music on something, then you can do that through iTunes.
You can use Audacity to record a cassette to a CD. This is a free download. You can use a computer and a dvd to to cd converter which includes converting cassette tapes too.

I think: An input is something that is put in eg a CD and an out put is the result, product or outcome. Please improve this answer
Press Record.
You need a program like Nero 9 or something and then you just put in a CD and choose what files you want it to burn onto it.
GO to 'My Computer'. then you should see a letter with a D or something, that contains your CD. If it does not work or you dont see it then you either put in a DVD game that doesnt work with your regular CD drive. OR you put in a CD game into a DVD drive. or it could be that you have a bad CD/DVD or a bad drive.
Taking something off a CD: If you went to a shop, bought a CD, then put all the tracks from the CD to your computer that would be CD Ripping (ripping the data of your CD) it also could happen with DVD's.
