lot manual how do you put down the rear seats in a 2004 grand am
No it does not. It uses a Chrysler 727 automatic that uses a shift modulator rod that comes down from the carburator. The 70's vintage fullsize Jeeps use a GM Turbo 400 that had a vacuum module...
Yes, push down the 2 buttons on top of the seatback.
To let the back seat down on a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM, you have to open the trunk and pull the release straps located at the top of the back of the seat. By pulling these straps and slightly pushing the back of the seat they will go forward.
I bet this happens with less than half a tank. Your fuel sloshes back and forth and the float on the sending unit is moving and will drop this seems to be a common problem on replacement sending units.
officially, whatever a scrap yard is willing to pay for it. Other than that, it really comes down to what someone is willing to pay for it based on collectability and overall condition. There isn't a KBB value set for a vehicle this old.

On mine grand am, there are two black taps to pull on, inside the trunk at the top, the left on if for the driver side back seat to pull down and the right for the right side

There is a little black knob on the top left back of the car you see when you raise the trunk lid. Pull that knob. If you close the trunk before putting the seat down it will push the knob back in and lock the seat again.
